Centenary Exhibition and Book Production 2019
Designed and produced a centennial exhibition and created a limited edition coffee table book for alumnus and friends in the community.
In 2019, the Union of Jewish Students of the UK and Ireland celebrated 100 years since its establishment. I was commissioned to collect, collate, and curate the 100 year history into a concise exhibition at a JW3, a prestigious arts centre in London. I networked with alumnus and built the first historical archive and documented works from as early as 1919 to present. I independently designed and executed the production of the exhibits for the event as well as the 150 page limited edition centennial book. I discovered that the oldest existing magazine which was produced by the Union in 1924 was in the Jewish Museum in London. for the event I arranged for this publication to be on show to the public for the first time in 90 years.
I gained a lot from this experience and it was an honour to take part in this slice of history.
