As the Chair of the Ball Committee, I made it our aim to create the biggest Manchester Jewish Society Ball in the past 5 years. I carried out the event planning and design, including creating a website to process ticket sales and manage guests with Wix. We chose the Manchester Mariott Victoria & Albert Hotel as the venue and invited guests from across the country. We met all of our priorities without compromising the quality of the event, achieving this through fundraising and supplier negotiations. We successfully raised £10,000 to finance the event, breaking even on all costs. The event was a success and was attended by 100 students from 13 institutions from across the country.
